PostPosted: Mon 17 Feb 2014, 19:10    Post_subject:  Synapse launcher theme problem.

Some time ago I installed synapse 0.2.10 launcher. I find this little utility real great: it quickly finds any program I want to run (enough to type 1-3 letters) and after installing mlocate it is able to find any file in my machine.
There is a problem though. It looks ugly. I see many great looking synapse screenshots on websites, while mine looks like in the attached picture.
When running from command line, it says: Screen is NOT composited.
So I installed xcompmgr, but it didn't help - the message is still there, the look still the same. I am using openboxplus.
I am able to change synapse themes but not to achieve its "normal" look. Has anybody encountered this issue?
