I installed in Slackopuppy 5.6 without problems, I don’t know in other puppies

1) Download file MPLABX-v2.00-linux-installer.run from :

http://www.microchip.com/mplabx-ide-linux-installer

This file have 334 Mb. So better you download /mnt/home .....

2) When finish download then give privileges:

chmod 777 MPLABX-v2.00-linux-installer.run

3) Instalation by terminal:

./MPLABX-v2.00-linux-intaller.run

There are window ask you where path do you want install?

/opt/Mplab ....

Change to /mnt/home/.... I installed in /mnt/home

I am working in frugal installation, so if I choose “/opt/...” is sure I broke my pupsave and get full the Ram of my computer.

4) The next steps is only forward to the final.

If we had create a project in assembler, the command "make" no work if there aren't installed devx-Slacko-5.60, in other puppies the devx need.

if the devx is no installed the program can't be build.

We can see the C compiler in :

https://www.microchip.com/pagehandler/en_us/devtools/mplabxc/

Later I'll try to make a Pet of the SDC compiler of Linux.

Ok see you.
