I thought Gargoyle Interpreter for adventure games would be easy to install on precise puppy because there was an Ubuntu site that had some libs to download that were required.
Boy was I wrong. Now when I boot, I just keep running xorgwizard but it never works.
Lucky for me I had backed up the save file.
Does anyone have any Idea how i can get Gargoyle working natively .
I could use Wine but I would like to use a native version.
Gargoyle worked great on older puppy distros.
I have very limited knowledge of computers and linux ,but I am willing to try if anybody can give some advice.
Thanks

Gargoyle adventure game interpreter: xorg wont work now
Dell Inspiron 2x Pentium (r) dual-core cpu 2 gig ram with Slacko64 frugal install on 32 gig thumb drive
hi openocean555,
there is a gargoyle interpreter is precise puppy's PPM (package manager)
you will probably want to update the package manager 1st though so ....
open the PPM ..... click 'configure' then 'update' and update all the repos.
once that's done type 'gargoyle' into the find box
