Hi...
Welcome to the forums
The information on your avatar that I've obtained is...
Image Type: png (The PNG image format)
Width: 57 pixels
Height: 43 pixels
Size: 5.7 KB (5878 bytes)
While the width, height and size appear to fall within the specs (80x80 pixels and 6kb maximum size,) I''m guessing the hang up is the image type. Try changing the image to a JPEG or GIF and see if that helps.
Pretty cute fuzzy, although he/she don't look too happy.
Regards...

I thought through all that hearing the name Scotland what come back
by first thought was Sir William Rowan Hamilton of quaternions, sadly Irishman according to well-informed Wikipedia
My second thought was John Napier of natural logarithm, of course he was Scotsman really
Georges Simenon's Scotland Yard's detective investigator Maigret, 'll never dare have a look at Wikipedia
