I am rather puzzled why you have a package from Porteus listed -->

baconrecorder-porteus-3.1.xzm.

Wouldn't it be better to have the pet package for recent Puppies?

http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=69237

Thanks for posting Quirky 6! The devx file should be posted too.

have added the proper baconrecorder pets (baconrecorder_NLS-4.2.pet, baconrecorder-4.4.pet). some of my downloading is a bit haphazard, but i at least try to be a bit more careful when uploading--guess i missed that one.

the devx will be upped as soon as it finishes downloading from whatever crevasse it's fallen into. another half hour or so, FF says.

and you're welcome. and thanks for the right click program suite (and others). didn't much care for ROX before it, now i keep the other five file managers around just for the hell of it.

added:

devx_quirky_6.0.sfs
gimp-precise-2.8.10_5.7.1.sfs
gimp-precise-2.8.10.pet
virtualbox-4.3.4.sfs (from shinobar, 98.9MB)
virtualbox-4.3.pet (100mb)
AwOken LibreOffice 4.1 (Version Alpha ).zip (alt icon pack1) LibreOffice Pack Icons-0.3.7-a-2.1.zip (alt icon pack2) [unzip 1 and/or 2, preview (the icon folders have a png file in them), rename a zipped collection of your choice to the name of one of the zips in /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config, swap them, select that from the tools/options/view menu. switch back if unhappy. (there are more involved instructions online somewhere, but this seems to work. backing up the folder's probably not a bad idea if you're going to mess with it, though.)]

Image

a shot of a misnamed renamed icon set (tried version 3.6 and discovered there was a newer one, the folders began piling up, i began not keeping track of what was named what. anyway, this method appears to more or less work).

Added:

gtkthemes1213.tar.gz (mostly dark, nearly all made with the gtktheme maker 1.4 pet)

human.zip ---light, flat icons, not the real collection by that name. (LibreOffice recognizes "human" and gives it a menu entry. the easiest way to install extra icon themes in LibreOffice is to just copy a zipped LO-compatible icon pack named/renamed "human.zip" to /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config.)

images_tango.zip (the actual "human" icon pack, misnamed of course. i ended up replacing the original tango with this. it's a magenta/violet/fuchsia kind of deal. it's nice. and human (which might be faedenza/a faedenza variant) was accepted into the fold and just became an additional menu choice. and the changes persist after rebooting, which is nice and which i bring up because on the computer on which this was done, deleting sfs files on the home partition is pointless--every reboot undoes it and they're back. a four hundred megabyte annoyance of almost no consequence.)

mtpaint-3.44.44.pet
mtpaint_handbook-3.40.pet
libreoffice language pack pets made by vicmz [upped as a folder, but you should be able to open it and get what you need so long as what you need is one of the following language packs]:
Catalonian (Català) - 1.1 MB
Chinese (Simplified) - 中文 (简体) - 614 KB
Chinese (Traditional) - 中文 (正體) - 610 KB
Danish (Dansk) 2.3 MB
Dutch (Nederlands) 1.4 MB
French (Français) 2.7 MB (already included in some LibreOffice packages, make sure the file name contains 'fr' for included French support)
Finnish (Suomi) 546 KB
German (Deutsch) 10.7 MB
Greek (Ελληνικά) 2.1 MB

...

added the LP Modularity-Package, htop-1.0.2-i686.pet, yabatt-1.1.pet

new kingsoft office (sfs by musher0 and a pet made from it) and a mirror of the latest slackos (5.6.5.2 non pae/ 5.6.5.5 PAE, development thread). for testers, entomologists, and the anxious--looks like a polished version is coming soon...

KingSoftOffice-9.10.0RA.pet 94mb/KingSoftOffice-9.10.0.4244-a12p3_Western.sfs 80mb

western version and the only roman alphabet/indonesian word for komodo dragon version...

could've just kept musher's sfs title for the pet, too. good office suite now half the size thanks to musher0. "stripped" versions can give you neither a chinese interface nor a simplified chinese interface.

---

pet tested in Precise 561 and 55. works well, loads very fast.

quick breakdown:

cons: no odt support, free linux version one update behind free windows version (lacks ability to save as docx).

pros: smaller and faster than libre office, you can have the modern ms word interface if you want it, browser-like tabs.

Quirky Tahr 6.0

LibreOffice-4.2.0_en-US_xz.sfs (172MB)
LibreOffice-4.2.0_en-US_xz.pet (208MB)

edit:
just discovered my 4.2 pet and sfs don't create menu icons for themselves, so ...

both work well other than that and are noticeably faster loading than the 4.1 series. also, you can now edit doc/docx without being prompted to convert it to odt. fwiw, haven't had any sort of glitch with LO since 4.1.1 or so; from what i can tell, those LibreOffice folks are really on top of things....

two thumbs and an old toe up.

edit2: menu icons/entries appear now. not every machine (4) was rebooted, so i'm not sure what's changed other than the time. possibly merely restarting LO fixed it...
