" I had planned to release 2 more Legacy OS versions this year.
My full time job work load has increased substantially.
Family commitments has left very little time to work on Legacy.
While one of the 2 planned releases is close to being released sadly problems has arisen with the other which means it isn't suitable
for release.
As Legacy OS 2.1 Gamer was developed for someone to set up an old PC to play games on, WiFi support isn't and won't be supported in the future.
Any future Legacy OS Series 2 releases will also not include support
for most WiFi adapters, Sorry! "

If it is stable I'd be happy to include in future releases. :D "

As expected no takers sorry cthisbear thanks for making this post.
One advantage of this is total control of what goes in to Legacy OS.
I update and refine each release the best I can as my knowledge improves.
I'll continue to do so and release when I can. Downloads of Legacy OS 2.1 Gamer is currently at 17,000 so there's still interest in Legacy based OS's.
47% of Downloaders downloading with Windows so Legacy is reaching possibly non Linux users for the first time.

Legacy OS 2017 has been released.
Pelo
It's too bad that Pelo hasn't responded to any requests for answers. I requested he post on another topic about how he changed out firmware and modules. It would be really great if someone could just update the kernel to get better hardware support. Thanks John for all you do, Rob

I requested he post on another topic about how he changed out firmware and modules. It would be really great if someone could just update the kernel to get better hardware support.
Legacy OS 2017 has been released.
I will try and take the time to pull off a kernel swap on legacy OS
I must say I don't have a lot of time but will do when I can
I have made the comment here so I will come back and post my findings
I have had great luck with pulling off a kernel swap on Akita
Hope to have the same luck with legacy
I belive that older pups can live on with the proper upgrades and I don't understand why they are abandoned Its too bad ! I love the 4 series
very much !
