Continuing from Howto git PART 1
it needs at least a free github account to contribute .
Here are the steps in jpg pictures how to do this .
First : Go with an internet browser to https://github.com/
an sign up with a nice user name, email address and some weird unforget-table password and hit the large green button .

Second : After hitting the green Sign Up button, a page asks for a master-plan .
Just select the defaulted last entry Free and hit the bottom green button Finish sign up .

Third : Now you will get to a welcome page . Here we click the image 3 about forking repositories .

Fourth : We get directed to a page with much too much text about forking,
so we type in woof-ce in the github search box , which will present us :

Fifth : We open the link to https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/woof-CE in a new tab and there just click right or left the Fork button :

Sixth : And after the Fork button had been clicked
- in zero dot zero seconds -
we are suddenly at our own https://github.com/pup-noob/woof-CE page - and instead of 8 forks , there are now 9 :
