Subject description: Is it possible to include MPD?

Include MPD latest version and/or the ability to upgrade MPD as new releases become available would be a great add-on feature.

Currently MPD is very outdated as a pup package, so its almost not worth it for a user to try to add the package from the repository.

Aqualung works good for me, as a player app, and it maintains a jackd connection, to allow quick overdubs with a recording app.
I assume you are looking more to the server side?
Cheers
