@sunburnt -- http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=84637  slacko URL works still. About to try in Upup Raring 3992. Should go OK with a little lib-hunting... I hope...

starhawk; Let me know about your experiment, I use Precise. Tried Racy but it`s buggy.

My WallPuppy app. wrote in Precise didn`t work in Slacko, so I`m thinking this won`t work.

You need libpng and a symlink from that to libpng14.so.14. After that you need an incredible tolerance for XFCE's aesthetics generally being nonfunctional. The icons that aren't red X's in white boxes are ugly; I can't make the wallpaper work; and themes don't function either. Of course I've no idea what the crap I'm doing wrong so all that's really produced is a long string of Words You Cannot Say On Television ;)

Couldn`t get any add=ons to work, so I downloaded Xprecise, so far it looks pretty functional.

I`m guessing like usual I won`t get it to work how I want. We need more control of everything!

Set the taskbar on the left side, now it needs desktop choosers, drive buttons, and tray items.

Thunar`s nice, some don`t like it... Need it to recognize RoxApps. Probably not gonna happen.

Tried Xprecise? It seems okay, but I`m no wizard on Xfce.

I`ll agree the config. stuff isn`t quite what I`d hoped it would be.
