I have a Dell inspiron 1525 with a BCM4312 14e4:4315.
Cannot connect via networking wizard, Dougals or simple but will connect via Frisbee
Has anyone else had this issue
Precise 5.6 frugal
Wireless can't connect with wizard but can with Frisbee.
It is an oddball nic - same problem in Lucid, upup Raring, & Wheezy.
Dell shipped some with Intel and some with Broadcom - as usual Broadcom makes a nuisance of itself.
I'm planning to use a USB nic as i don't have time to work around ignorant hardware manufacturers.
Good luck to them as Steam brings a bazillion high-end game users over to Linux & they learn who is Linux-friendly and who is not -- they are not at all shy about blackballing those who refuse to cooperate.
