We seem to have a small coterie of users still existing.
Not sure what we should do about it. Strike a medal? Print 'T'-shirt? Hide under a stone....[/quote]

Yes thanks. So Carolina has to be something very good then
if somebody chose it for to resell it for money giving it another name?

Is Carolina the best Puppy we have now then? I am lagging behind badly.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Distrowatch calls it a Puppy derivative.
Simplicity site says it is based on Carolina.
It's free; they ask for donation, just like almost every other
linux distro.

Inspiron 700m, Pent.M 1.6Ghz, 1Gb ram.
Msi Wind U100, N270 1.6>2.0Ghz, 1.5Gb ram.
Eeepc 8g 701, 900Mhz, 1Gb ram.
Full installs

Not a big deal to me but in the not too distant past the Simplicity site didn't mention Puppy or Carolina in any obvious way.Obviously free though. :)

What would life be without a wayback machine :)
I could use such for to remember old music me have forgotten.
That would be very handy. I did a frugal install of Carolina
yesterday but he FF where 17 and them are now into 22 or something?

So it is a full time job for a dev to keep up with all the latest changes.

One of my machines at work has a yellow-sticky program in two different instances and in two different colors on the right monitor. Yellow sitckies are about my current project and red stickies are informational as well as a means to track ideas for later. I also use a personal Wiki @ work to track all of my procedures, tools and intranet links via a keyword search. I could not function without this

They do comment a lot on Trisquel now on DW
so it seems to be gaining popularity. What I wonder is
now when it is using free software would that mean
them does not include the Adobe Flashreader in Firefox
so one need to add that on one self?

No Adobe software, no Firefox because the Firefox extension server provides non-free software (they use abrowser which is based on Firefox with their extension server and no branding), etc.
