Precise 5.5's bootmanager

#1 Post by watchdog »

Bootmanager is not working. Sfs Load-on-the-fly works but I have destroyed my precisesave attempting to unload a java sfs. Running bootmanager the button "Choose which extra sfs files to load at bootup" does not work and at terminal the error is: eval, line 264: syntax error near unexpected token ` ) '.

EDIT: just to explain better I have to say that I use Libreoffice with gz compression from wary. Unloading by Sfs-load first Libreoffice and second java 7u17 destroyed my precisesave (they were not in use). I was more lucky unloading first java and than libreoffice. But bootmanager is still not working.

I have found that the problem is hardware-dependent: the same precisesave, on another laptop, works correctly. I also found that precise 5.4.3 on my current laptop, hp-compaq 6730b, works correctly, not precise 5.5: it's a hardware failure of precise 5.5 on my laptop.
