Draftsight on Lucid 5.2.8

#1 Post by aecvizpro »

I installed this .deb package, but I get several errors about missing library files. The files are in the subfolder opt/dassault-systemes/draftsight/lib/ but for some reason when I start the program it cannot find them. Any ideas ?

Perhaps those lib were compiled under a different kernel that what Lucid uses.

aecvizpro, the /opt directory is not the correct address for your libs, move the libs - or links to them - to /root/my-applications/lib or /usr/lib.

The bin files also need to be in the executable path.

Tip: In a terminal window, enter echo $ , and then press the TAB key twice, to see all variable settings, as shown below.
