La lazy Puppy doit être officialisée

#41 Post by Pelo »

LAZY PUPPY : Pub !

#43 Post by Pelo »

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=86512

#49 Post by Pelo »

#50 Post by Pelo »

#51 Post by oui »

bonne chance!

Puppy et les tablettes

#52 Post by Pelo »

Hi, Pelo.

I don't speak french language and so I did try to use google to translate it to DE. This offered translation doesn't make any sense to me - except one or two phrases/sentences. So, I did try to translate to EN - which gave much better results to me and I could almost understand the your post.
Google translate wrote:On the forum , someone installed Puppy on a shelf , so I think Medor .
Puppy does not actually manage the tablet, but there turns . Where have I seen that? ( not long ago ) .
For the Lazy Puppy, you're right. But it would have come to us RSH . He wants to stay in his little corner.
If the Lazy has no mouse or keyboard that done?
I installed it on Racy to correct the problem , he says he no longer takes new releases. The user is told that turns home, that you ask for , it's understandable.
528 lucid he uses no sound on a large park ordis , then the problem ( alsa driver 1.10.24 ) has been set .. I know install the patch , but it's not everyone .
We must be attentive to the customer, even if it is free . Or is it -yourself , the hobby. And unfortunately I think RSH will not go away. Everyone starts to have her baby , and the baby is interested German as his dad. This is very unfortunate , because the Lazy is innovative . Well, she has an uncle , uncle 'YES' . That is good. I wanted to integrate the club but the door is closed.
I had a Samsung Galaxy tablet to my retirement. You redeem me ? In the open air , we must find a place where we capture wifi , and it is not won. And again, with my fat fingers , I get angry banging on the damn virtual keyboard. Very Happy
Because of this almost understand the your post now, I want and also need to make a reply.
For the Lazy Puppy, you're right. But it would have come to us RSH . He wants to stay in his little corner.
Ok, that's (hopefully) somehow funny...

Who is us? Why should I come to there?

My little corner?

Obviously you must have been blind at all the time. My little corner in fact is a huge canyon!

1. I'm still a newbie. So, almost everything is/was absolutely new to me.
2. I have so many ideas, you can't imagine that. When I'm doing a break from developing my head is automatically filling up with thoughts, new ideas and views of things to be made smarter/better or whatever. While thinking about that what comes in mind, there is again a rush of new thoughts of the related idea. While sorting this again new ideas come in mind and the previous one gets lost (for the moment) - I'm just running out of knowledge and also running out of ability to keep/put this all together.

To get a less percentage of all this what comes to my mind somehow sorted and developed, I have had to restructure my available free amount of time and also my way and focus of doing things.

To turn the Lucid 5.2.8-004 into LazY Puppy 2.0.2-005 it has taken approximately 18 Months. Those 18 Months were filled with several hours of work each and every day (because of real life issues, I just had the time to do so). Some days (really not less) I did work 24, 36 and even up to 40 hours in a row - sitting in front of the computer and hacking code into the keyboard, using a programming language completely new to me.

Regarding the programming language completely new to me, I had to stay online to the forum, doing posts, searching for tips, hints, solutions and code snippets. I have mentioned it sometimes earlier, but again: usually I do NOT use the internet, because I DON'T like it. When I'm only, I'm on the forum.

So, because of this I did not own equipment to connect to the internet, which means I had to buy a GPRS USB Modem for this, which did cost me 50 €. Each day online did cost me 1 € and those days when I did upload files or needed to download big files did cost me 5 € per day.

So, I did not spent almost all of my time to create LazY Puppy, I did also spent a big amount of money especially for this purpose.

And now, go around the forum and have a look of what has happened!

Is there any program that has been introduced in/by LazY Puppy and has been published on the forum for other puppies that has found its way into any other Puppy Linux (derivative)?

No! (As far as I know - maybe one or two, maybe)

Are there real LazY Puppy users?

No! (AFAIK most people over here do use other Puppies -mostly newer ones- and doing Puppy hopping)

Is there any idea of mine, introduce in/by and while working on LazY Puppy that has been taken up by other developers?

No! (AFAIK)

So, now, please tell me:

Why should I do again a LazY Puppy for the forum?

---

Regarding to the post above by oui:

Please, do yourself a favor, because you are obviously one (of the less), that is able to recognize LazY Puppy's nicely concept, go to the topic linked at oui's post and read the whole thread.

At first you will find lots of discussions related to my vision of using a Puppy Linux in a modular way. At second you will find the Modularity Package, that will make you able to use LazY Puppy with almost all of its special features (including the apps) without to use the StArtLPx2_202.sfs loaded on the fly by sfs_load. Just boot the your Puppy needed/wanted.
At third you will find out, that each discussion has immediately stopped after uploading the Modularity Package. Each of the posters have had doing other posts and/or have been online meanwhile several times.

No testing reports returned so far, and I'm not sure if there is anyone testing it - though, they did declare to do some testings.

So, do it. Go to there, install as described and for your very pleasure use a clean and fresh USB Flash drive to install as described.

After this just boot the your puppy wanted clean, fresh and without any save file.

Have fun.

And if you'll return to here after that, please again: tell me why should I do again a new LazY Puppy for the forum?

LazyPup few users

#54 Post by Pelo »

LazyPup few users : as Precise 5.6 was freezing, i get lazy pup installed in Racy 5.3. Mouse and keyboard then were available to do their Job
I keep the USB stick under the hand. Among the others.
If Puppy Linux crators dont want to put their egg in the commun basket, projects will end quickcly.
I am sad that nobody get interest in Lazy Puppy, or ToOppy, or Legacy Os.
I use each one, because each one has its own charm.
I am not fighting for one distro, i am fighting to have Puppies used by everybody, no for the reduced world of the conceptor (that is the 'corner)
But when i suggest RSH a new Puplet based on Racy, he's not interested. So i go away..

Really Pelo.

You should have read my post some more carefully.

There is NO NEED to build any new LazY Puppy.

Go to the thread that oui has linked above and give it a try.

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT.

Your reasons to complain will begone immediately.

When I'm finished, each OS developer can turn his OS into a LazY Puppy, without to rename it to LazY Puppy, without to have different menu structure etc.pp.

I can't help you, if you are ignoring useful tips and hints.

Grab your wary and my SFS P.L.U.S. (when finished for the forum) and just build your own LazY Puppy.

BTW:

When creating an OS there is always someone complaining about why is this in and why is this not in etc.pp. Why it is DE/EN and not FR and so on and so on.

Really, that's not my duty, not my Job. I can't produce a OS that will fit to all users. But I can give the modularity concept of LazY Puppy to all all forum members, all developers and users.

That's all I can do and I'm willing to do in the future. So, it's (will be) now all on the real developers of Operating Systems -which I'm NOT.

Got it?
