Watchdog doesn't work; how to install Motion?

Ive tried 3 or 4 downloads and burns of watchdog to no avail. It wont boot up.
I tried installing motion and it installs but when I click on it I see a box open and close and then nothing happens. Can anyone tell me how to install linux motion in puppy? thanks in advance.

There is different one called Wary Watcher, which worked for me. But you have to set up your own drivers if it needs them. I will post link later.

It is about 3 or 4 messages in. It has ZoneMinder with the server etc all setup and ready to go.

In Precise you find motion detector in ubuntu repositories. If you need motion for lupu I can post it.
