GCC Advice Needed
Hello all,I am trying to compile a module for a Syba 4 Port PCI Sata controller card in Wary Watcher/Wary 5.1.1 (a distro by CatDude) kernel uname-r 2.6.32.28 .When I use gcc on either of these two files “siimage.c” or “siimage.h”(attached) I get notice it can’t find #include /linux/ config.h or #include /linux/delay.h Sure
enough ,when I go to /usr/include/linux/ I can’t find them either. There may be
others ? but remembering I must answer all complaints as gcc submits them,I’m stuck .Can someone advise me a way forward ? Thanks

Thanks amigo. Now who was it that said "Google was not my friend " Looks like I'm going to have to get some of that YUM and APT.Just checked your screen name and didn't find that anon P.O.BOX [/img]
Which P.O. box? For puppy you won't find a package with the kernel sources. Instead, they are in some sfs file. Perhaps searching the forum for kernel-source sfs will help -or hopefully someone will chime in with the proper file name.
