Problema con wireless PCI TP-LINK puppy linux (Resuelto)

Hola a todos!!!

Este es mi primer post aqui, ojala alguien pueda ayudarme, ya que no deseo volver a windows :( , pero este problema ya me está superando... ahi va.

Compré una tarjeta wireless PCI marca TP-LINK modelo: TL-WN751ND, version 1. Puppy linux la detecta y ocupa el driver por defecto "ath9k" pero al momento de escanear las redes inalambricas no detecta nada (estoy al lado del router). Intenté usando Nsdiswrapper para instalar los drivers de windows (windows 7, 32 bit, windows XP, 32 bits), probé hasta los de 64 bits pero ninguno levanta la tarjeta.

Estoy usando puppy-es passagio 531-02

Después de mucho buscar en google no he podido solucionar este problema.

Los amigos de IRC me deribaron a este foro, espero que alguien pueda ayudarme :)

Hola

Por favor di qué versión de Puppy usas.

Puedes probar Frisbee, sirve para conexiones inalámbricas. Este PET se hizo para Precise Puppy pero puede ser que funcione en otras versiones:

Sabía que había olvidado algo, ya edité el post inicial.
Estoy usando "puppy-es passagio 531-02"

Instalé frisbee usando el link que me has dejado :) pero al abrirlo no muestra ninguna red inalambrica para conectarse. En la pestaña de frisbee "Configure Wireless Network", presioné en botón "Wireless diagnostic" y me muestra esta información:

Luego reinicie mi PC y volví a entrar a Frisbee y ahora no encuentra ni la tarjeta wireless. Presioné en Wireless diagnostic nuevamente y me aparece esto:

Tambien tuve el mismo problema con ese driver en passaggio en una notebook ACER
hay que ver que te tira el comando #lspci -nn eso lo haces abriendo un terminal o consola y digitas el comando
algo parecido a esto

ahi detalla mi tarjeta pci ralink, despues de eso buscamos quien nos haga el favor de hacernos ese driver o si ya esta alguien pues lo reporta aqui
envianos esa informacion o ve a la seccion de request en este foro y pides que te hagan ese driver para Lucid puppy ya que passaggio es un remaster de ella con soporte en español

Olvide decirte esa vez que probe la acer solo me trabajo con saluki pero necesita 512 de ram para funcionar comodo

Continuo con puppy-es passagio 531-02 (me encanta el logo xD) y después de un tiempo en el que he recibido sugerencias en el foro en ingles (http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 135#681135), en el cual configuré un archivo para que detectara la zona de mi pais y de esta forma se vieran las conecciones inalambricas, ahora la tarjeta detecta redes (a veces) pero no se conecta.

Luego desactive la seguridad del router (pensando que podía ser por la encriptación WPA2-PSK), reinice el router y mi pc y volví a intentar, pero sucede lo mismo, encuentra la red pero no se conecta. Entonces corrí "dmesg" a ver si alguien me puede orientar =)

Bueno, he solucionado el problema.
Finalmente el problema era de la ranura pci en donde estaba puesta mi tarjeta wireless. Lo comprobé ya que en windows xp pasaba lo mismo (mi conección inalambrica aparecía y desaparecia) y no se conectaba cuando "aparecia". Asi que moví la tarjeta wireless a otra ranura pci y el problema se solucionó en windows. Desinstalé windows xp e instalé puppy-es passagio 531-02 denuevo y ahora la tarjeta wireless funciona perfectamente con el driver nativo ath9k 8)
