Precise puppy hanging on "loading kernel module"
I just installed Precise puppy 5.4.3 to my flash drive. I formatted my 1GB flash drive and installed the .iso I had obtained from the Linux puppy website via unetbootin (my computer has no optical drive). When I boot up from my flash drive it gives me the screen with the puppy face and begins loading. It gets to "loading kernel modules", that finishes (it says done on the right side) and it stops there. This is my first time ever touching Linux, so it very well may be a simple mistake on my part.

Donko_XI,
Welcome to the forum.Geany is a text editor found within a running Puppy.
You can plug your flash drive into a Windows system and use any text editor there to edit isolinux.cfg.
Edit 23 01 13
The file to be edited is in fact syslinux.cfg. (On a USB it contains the contents of isolinux.cfg) _________________ Regards ETP
