almost remember this sitting at our biggest library and

Many countries throughout the world have been capturing BIG data and setting rules of their internet controls and their uses of that information as they watch all of us. This is NOT new! Yet, the media (and politicians) try hard to make us think it is new. And, the most secret of the world agencies makes a Public statement??? None, of what these countries do, is new. What's new, is the hype being thrown around.

Unfortunately, "They know ..."

Our ONLY hope is, maybe, there will be a time when we too can see; OR, will be allowed to look.

Edit today: BTW the US's Prism program looks like a Political smear tactic, by some accounts This is NOT meant to consider Politics. The post intends to show what corporations and Government are saying about the hype and use of technology.

I come to think of a very old tech thing? Analog modems?
56Bit per Sec or something and using LandLinePhones
and volunteer enthusiasts did set up HUBs and the HUBs
knew about other such HUBs and that allow anybody
making a cheap phone call to the nearest HUB to send
a kind of Email to anybody in the world that also joined this
Fido Network or what name it had. I guess such easily would
allow the PRISM to listen in too using the Telephone Companies
stations to get access to all such traffic.

So if I get it. There is no solution to PRISM. We are totally surveiled forever?

I think that guy is a kind of hero but he should not have revealed himself.
Now he risk life in prison and that is a too high price.
