Subject description: Can it be played on PL?

Hi,
I'm making this post on behalf of a friend - I don't know what the total war series of games is all about.
Does anybody know if Puppy supports this game or is it exclusive to Windoze?

You need Wine to play it on Puppy. Which games in the series, there is alot of them according to Wine's App database. Most of them are labeled as Garbage. Which means:

Garbage

An application gets this rating if it cannot be used for the purpose it was designed for. There should be at least one bug report in Bugzilla if it gets this rating. Application cannot be installed, does not start, or starts but has so many errors that it is nearly impossible to use it.

Edit: I would just keep windows if I wanted to play a game

Yeah, I agree. The thing about puppy is that you can use it without ditching Windows. So your friend can just use puppy and boot windows for gaming.

You can even run puppy with your hard drive unplugged. I've done this to save wear on the HD and keep from overheating in the summer- and when I want to play a game I just plug the HD in and unplug my flash drive that has Slacko on it.
