Need more 3HD Subject description: Playdayz... any chance? |

This is clearly one of the more solid puppy distros. Any chance of making a new one? Maybe go 4HD?
The wallpaper background is stunning, as well.

gtkdialog is linked to gtkdialog3, which doesn't work with new apps, where gtkdialog4 does. I'm not sure what the agreed standard is, but I've just been using "gtkdialog" and expecting that it's linked to the latest version.
The latest update is 0.8.3.

Four headed dog ? Subject description: Shutdown problem |
|
THD is a very nice LTS distro. I come back to it, because i can again connect it to internet. I changed my life, now far from Paris. I intend not to pay again for a phone rent, but only for ADSL.
Unfortunately, THD didn't do it (kernel)
I remasterized it with firmware and modules from racy 5.3 library plus modules from etc. (switch the kernels as teached somehere in this forum).
Yeah, all is back again.
However shutdown only works by ctrl alt back space.
After looking after solution, shuting down the connection seems to be the answer. I Will confirm that.
Nice Puppy !

Angel Linux which kernel is 2.7.37.6 |
|
on an usb stick i have Angel Linux which kernel is 2.7.37.6. I am surprised that this Puppy run on my laptop with such a kernel.
Angel Linux is a big one, with a lot of games and emulators for Atari.
SFS is named Luci001. Is that a THD ? a Lucid 529...
Description |
It's a really nice Puppy, to be rematerized with a newer kernel. |
