Greetings,
I should've posted this months ago, but I'm finally getting caught up on some things.
As a noob, once I tried to put Puppy in Standby - didn't like that. When I tried to take it out of Standby - Puppy started deleting files. So that was that for trying Standby again!
If needed - here are my specs:
Gateway Solo 9100 laptop
PII processor @ 400 MHz (aww yeah lightning fast! - Puppy does work good on it though)
384 MB of RAM
160 GB IDE HDD with a Windows XP partition.
Note: This computer does have an 8.4 GB limit due to its age (1998). I have XP on the 8.4 limit and extended partition, as well as Puppy being on the other half of the extended partition.

Puppy Wary 5.3 doesn't like going in Standby....

Wary does not have acpi installed or activated - it can be added - however:
An easy option is to use a Puppy that comes ready setup.
Pemasu’s Exprimo puppy’s are among the best.
Fluppy, Saluki and Slacko are good too.
All above are “lite
