Infocentral -- a relational database |
|
A relational database creator & manager. Initial database provided is a Personal Information Manager which enables you to define classes and relationships between one record and another. By classes, I mean, for example, Project Manager, Staff Advisor, Accountant, Former Wife, Step-daughter could each be a separate class of Persons. By relationship, you could go beyond such "standards" as Husband-Wife, to include "Team-player", Stepfather-StepSon, Class-Member, Book-Author, Book-Publisher: whatever you can imagine.
Requires wine.

Sunbird |
|
Sunbird
Sunbird is a cross-platform calender and appointments Manager.
This is the last update for Sunbird; now that Thunderbird has integration with the Lightning plug-in. But this is a good stand-alone application and meets many daily/weekly appointment needs.

Hi, big_pup.
This thread is a nice initiative. Thanks, I hadn't noticed it before.
Just a word to say that we've covered a lot of ground on the subject on the French side.
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=668395&sort=lastpost#668395
Until the thread here develops more, Puppyists looking for business solutions to use
on their Puppy may find it worthwhile to visit our thread even if they barely grasp
French, because many of the solutions and programs we've presented are basically
English-speaking programs, and at least they'll understand the name of the program
and its URL. Our thread has currently 24 pages.
I know that Spanish-speaking members of the Puppy forum have also been active in
the business area, but I know only of this one thread:
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=789028&sort=lastpost#789028
I believe there are others. Hopefully, member pelo or other Spanish-speaking
Puppyists will shortly give us more info about business programs suitable for Puppy.
Best regards.
