Subject description: install

using the latest tarball from the sylpheed site and the newest slacko. have moved on since that. wasnt a big deal - too much more to learn.
slacko is running very well, however the screen resolution keeps changing. it ratchets up a notch in resolution and i keep setting it back to 1024. five minutes later after i have navigated around a bit it is back at a higher resolution. just will not stay where it should.
