Don't start a separate thread in this forum unless you are announcing a new puppy derivative.
Bugs are usually dealt with in the Bugs forum but ...
With a derivative the best approach is to add a post to the end of the thread that discusses the derivative.
You might like to consider providing the following info if you raise your problem elsewhere. It will help to try and determine a solution. Have you got other Puppies to boot on your hardware? What precisely happens when you try to boot Lighthouse - just a black screen or something more?

I don't have a clue how to use forums.
Yes, all other puppies boot on that machine.
Flickering vertical lines is the best I can get.
Trying to drop to shell no good.

Hey mrbulldog:
Sorry we did not notice you over here. We are normaly posting in this thread.
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 1378694d5e
Onto your issue:
Question(s)
Are you using the Integrated Graphics Processor on the mother board?
If so that looks like a real new board with the newest integrated lintel graphics.
Its probably not covered by LHPUP's current kernel.
I have old mother boards with integrated graphics that will not boot to a visible screen. Onboard graphics and Linux and more-so puppy Linux don't play nice all the time.
I suggest you get a video card that is supported by your favorite distro. I just put out some video drivers for all of the nvidia chip sets.
most ATI work as well.
Sorry your having issues. I'm sure someone else will be on this thread shortly with better suggestions than me.
I recommend running in vesa if you can.
