it looks like a few of the developers are looking at fdk-aac as the replacement for faac. Maybe we should also have a look?
also using ffmpeg's internal aac has problems with slow links and is not considered suitable _________________ Puppy T290 - BarryK's Racy but with T2 Version 9.0. First Beta planned out end of August 2017.
