I am trying to install a package using apt-get, but I get the result "apt-get: command not found"I have trawled linux pages all afternoon and the impression I get is that it SHOULD be there. I have tried to find it in the /usr/bin folder but it is not there, nor anywhere else either for that matter.
Is APT a part of this puppy or not?

Thanks for the reply Chris. I am using the latest version of Exprimo, in a frugal install on an eeepc900 I thought I had posted in the thread to do with this build. I was trying to install a program called Amarok, using apt-get. This is the first time I have used linux so excuse me if I don't know a lot about it! Hope you can help!

Puppy doesn't have apt-get. Have you tried the amarok sfs posted in this thread?

You won't know whether it will work for you unless you download it & try. Apart from possible glibc incompatibilities, any other possible errors shouldn't be difficult to resolve.

Regarding apt-get have you checked out pussy?
