aarnet.edu.au problem

#1 Post by scsijon »

10 Dec 2012 EDIT: apparently in case you havent realized the real problem is ibiblio. aarnet is monitoring their end and attempting to keep themselves as stable as possible. Puppy is not the only distribution being affected, every linux distribution who has ibiblio as the central server is affected and so a number have setup temporary mirrors to deal with it.

4 Nov 2012 EDIT: there are still problems with missing versions and packages, sugest you use an alternate if available package is not there or looks wrong. Don't forget to gtkhash them all!!!!

Origonal message: Please be aware that the mirror at arrnet.edu.au seems to have had problems over the last day or so and that a number of linux distributions are now incomplete as a result.

Hopefully the updating process we have will have fixed that for puppylinux and quirky, but it may be worth whoever is monitoring that process to do a log check.

thanks
