A collection of Puppy linux videos

#1 Post by Saturn »

Hi, I would like to promote this site which seems to be a collection of puppy videos:
http://puppylinux.mirocommunity.org/listing/popular/

I am Googling away and adding all possible puppy related material to my recently minted forum:
http://puppy-linux-hub.invisionconnect. ... ity-links/

The above said link is the sub forum category where I am building a collection of community generated/submitted stuffs... feel free to register and contribute!

Thanks!

:D Hello,
Hello, Feel free to link your site on the Puppy Linux Users Group on Facebook.
150 members and growing!!!
A bunch of screenies, but few videos..
But post links to smokie01, lobster, etc`s Youtube vids too.
My Youtube (jayguitarman) channel has a few "Compiz on Puppy" vids..
Video is a great way to show what a Puppy desktop can look like... 8)

:D Hello,
Yea, the PLDP just didnt " take off" like I hoped.. I`m still watching it, but the hope was "user content".. :)
Heck, I aint the Puppy guru.. LOL.. I wanted the members to post/link/submit their Puppy knowledge, tips, scripts, etc.. So far, only myself, and Plankenstein have posted.. LOL..

The Facebook group however, grows daily..
Many "Murga-Forum" members have joined..
Still hoping the "old school" guys will "get with the program" and become "social media" users like us...
Heck, I know the CIA has access to everything I post everywhere..
So I am a Puppy Linux nut...
And I am slightly "Anti Government"..
So what...
I have nothing to hide..
( I am an "out loud" subversive..
Geez, take off your tinfoil hats and join us!

I also tried a similar project such as yours when I had brain wave, but it did not take off either, I even paid a dude to custom code a media wiki for me, looked quite slick

But I did not bother to back it up, because it would be a royal pain to make it work with another server setup as it was linked to their stuff

I already linked my site in the facebook group, did you not see it, two days ago?

as for my forums, I am getting alot of page/topic/thread views, but no registrations, besides darkcity
