Thanks, working good now once i installed the lib package. Don't like it as good as Thunar, but still a very good alternative file manager. Any way to enable single-click mouse to open files?

Yeah, limited docs can be an issue for simple users - was wondering why no man or more -help, etc (seems kind of do-it-yourself at this stage of the dev)
Anyhow, interesting fm with a few nice features, but..
Even though it works (tried it in precise 5.3.95), it may not be suitable for liveCD multisession with extra add-on sfs packages - for some reason my fs-free went down drastically and here's why: the sfs packages were added again, resulting in a savedir that was radically enlarged and created a RAMFULL situation (tried twice, the 2nd time I didn't save). Not good (for me, anyway) but probably oki for frugal installs.
It's a lighter memory footprint than xfe (0.7 as compared with xfe's usual 1.5 on my machine), but xfe just works better for me. No need to be for others, thanks for putting it up for testing in puppy
