Hi.
How to change GTK and Openbox Themes by Script?
Is that possible?
Need this for a nice tool ---> Design Switcher <---
Makes me able to switch Desktop Design from just one GUI.
Switches:
- Wallpaper ---> by settings file
- System Icon Set ---> by settings file
- Tint2 Design ---> by settings file
- System Sounds ---> by settings file
- GTK Theme ---> manually
- Openbox Theme ---> manually
It can have different files of Design Settings.
This is the LazY Puppy PhaseBlue System Design:
and then just switched to LazY Puppy PhaseBlack System Design
(sorry, both images do show one "at-unperfect-stage-programming-result-bug-icon" at the right side)
Just need to switch GTK and Openbox Themes by Script...
...would be very
Thanks in advance for any help and hints

Hi RSH,
Yes you can change Openbox theme by script - if you have a look in this script it has the information you need for listing / switching Openbox themes.

for changing GTK themes i think you will need the application gtk-theme-switch2 - use it as command: gtk-theme-switch2 /path/to/gtk/theme
cheers.

Hi stu91.
Thanks for the Link to your script.
Any Idea where to find the gtk-theme-switch2 application ---> forum search gives results=0.

Hi.
Found the gtk-theme-switch2 at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/maverick/i386/gtk-theme-switch/2.1.0-2!
Downloaded the gtk-theme-switch_2.1.0-2_i386.deb, Installed and works.
So, the Design Switcher will work as intended.
EDIT:
Everything seems to work fine. Solved.
