Both Playdayz and 01Micko have made contributions in this area in such a way as to address a mainstream office need with a stable product integrated into the distro's desktop. These are OOTB solutions for community use. Understandably, individual package offering are a mere micro-second opening, but, the office solutions are enormously valuable, stable, and handle fidelity for most all of the extensions used in the office world. Playdayz 01Micko TaZoC For 64bit systems, TaZoC's distro contains both the standard Puppy office offering while ALSO providing the stable Office Solution as well. I posted a bug with AbiWord here- http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13372 Apparently, they don't recommend distributing any version later than 2.8.6
