Hey rhadon

That's OK we all miss things once in awhile.

I went back in a live lupu-528 and reinstalled Beryl
without LXDE and got the tray icons back as they should
be. Embarassed
Re-reading the directions is always a good idea when
dealing with precision tools. Rolling Eyes

Had another look at Compiz and XFCE it’s not so bad, I
could get use to it, but much prefer the simple puppy
layout I’v been using and learning on the past 2.8 yrs.

Looks like I will be including them both in the extra pets file
of a Multipup dvd I am putting together for a friend. Smile

Happy tails all around Very Happy

Note: if there's no borders on the windows try rebooting

Emerald is responsible for borders. You can also try in a console
Code:
emerald --replace

If you have no success with compiz, you could also try this Beryl pet. Works fine for me.

I opened terminal and i wrote that code.. and then the borders came, but as soon as i close the terminal the borders also go back... any solution for this?
