How to install a tar.gz game in Slacko 5.3.3? |
|
I downloaded a tar.gz file from a Linux game website, I'm running Slacko 5.33 and when i go to the Puppy package manager it seems to have changed from other Puppy distro's I've used, I used to be able to click a box and it would compile but that has gone?

I have no idea what is inside the tar.gz
Thus nobody can tell you whether it has to be compiled or just copied to a location.......
A link to the download could become helpers´ help

Sorry but i dont have the link anymore this game was saved on a old cd i had, but i no that it needs compiling, i have tried extracting and there is nothing to run just alot of lua files, when i used wary i just used the package manager and it would compile it itself, although as i am now using slacko 5.33 the package manager has changed. Do you know the command so i can install using terminal. Thanks Connor.
