Commands to make and use compressed ext4?

#1 Post by sunburnt »

I`ve looked all over the web (Google) and found almost nothing about it.

I`d like cli commands to make a ext4 compressed image file and partition.
The image file would be like a read-write Squash file.

Commands to make a image file and partition would be good.
And then the commands to make and mount the compressed ext4 FS.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I've seen people around here say they've used an ext4 save file. There's certainly been discussion of it, anyway.
