Thanks, fixed.
I have had much other stuff to do, but now back onto fixing things in Precise Puppy. I intend to bring out alpha3 soon.

Nice. But, it only seems to be at 640x480 on imageshack.

SeaMonkey and Flashplayer working ok now. This will be in the alpha3 build coming soon.

Might do the trick. |
The official PET is:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/pet_packages-noarch/mscw-2.pet
Now added to pkg list for Precise Puppy build.

Bcrypt works for me too. But maybe that's because I am running a later Precise Puppy with many bug fixes.

I am reluctant to spend much time on these proof-of-concept Pupplets. Like Drake before it, I don't expect that Precise is going anywhere.
However, here are some quick fixes.
1. Install the PET below.
2. Open the file /usr/share/cups/mime/mime.convs.
3. UNcomment line 41 - "application/pdf ....."
4. Restart CUPS. |
Thanks for the temporary fix. I found that another DEB package is needed, 'cups-filters'. This has the missing 'pdftops', it also has a mime.convs with appropriate lines uncommented.
The next precise, alpha3, should hopefully have fixed this problem.

You may well be right and Precise may never get going and I'm not really sure if BK wants it to get going, I believe it's more of a personal build he wanted... but I figure if BK took the time to create it, and make it available, someone may be able to use it, so... I'll give some time testing for him. I will say, what does work works very nice in Precise! |
Xsane is working now, for me anyway. Expect it ok on alpha3 release.
Yeah, I want it for the ARM port, as binaries are compiled for armv7 CPUs.
There is quite a high level of interest, also see pemasu's Upup thread.
So, I am moving ahead with debugging it.
