mageia2ppm updates for mageia2 |
|
With Mageia 2 out soon and my decision to use it for qtpuppy, I eventually had to look at BarryK's script and work out how to get it up.
This was eventually sorted after clues from our favorite sauropod.
I also found a typo in the case statement for the catagories while I was at it.
This fixes one problem only!
The second is:
Currently only the core package subrepo are converted to "puppy format" correctly, those from tainted and nonfree subrepo's fail because of their format additions. I might add that these didn't work properly before, it just hadn't been picked up.
Attached is a new working script (rename without the false .gz), it lives in /usr/local/petget or with woof it's under support.
It includes notes on what I think the other changes necessary for the other fix is including examples if anyone wants to have a go.
I'm going back to qtpuppy for a while as I want to get a mageia2 alpha out soon, but may revisit if I must before.
Also Mageia has decided at the moment to try a nine month release schedule for mageia 2 to mageia3-plus so this will need a revisit before then.
edit: oops, uploaded old incomplete one, fixed, sorry folks, fixed now!
