cups samba printing

hello,
I am using the latest puppy release 2.02 with cups server running and everything seems okay.
I use cups on all linux version and allways had configured my printer hp laserjet 4L connected to my SME-SERVER thrue samba with the corresponding driver: "HP LaserJet 4L Foomatic/hpijs".
I have been around but infortunately this time the printer test doen't work.
Any help

Hello,
Finally the problem was coming from a password error because when i tried:
"smbclient \\\\192.168.174.1\\root -N" it gave me: "tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED" . The correct syntax for cups was :
"smb://username:password@server/printer" instead of:"smb://guest@server/printer" and the new driver gimp-print work like a charm on my HP4-L.
