What happened to Rexbang 2.4?

#1 Post by LinuxUser531700 »

I've searched through the forum and have also searched on the internet and the Rexbang that I downloaded many months ago has seemed to have disappeared. I found a link at rexbang.tk, but the page doesn't load.

This particular pup worked very well for me and I have lost my CD with the download of this puppy.

Anyone have any idea where I can find it?

The most recent Rexbang that someone remastered, just isn't the same.

The Rexbang different versions are available here too, small and large transformations. They are now in Hungarian language, but of course can be restored to the English.

Difference is that in contrast to the original version of Firefox is.
Similar to the puplet MetroPuppyHu,

Other interesting items in which they are.
If you can not switch, write and upload the original somewhere Rexbang puplet.

Hello Kros,
You say that the Hungarian version of Rexbang can be restored to English. How do you do this please? Obviously I can set up keyboard and actual locale through the control panels, but how do I get the actual desktop and menus to read in English?
Perhaps if any other "Puppyians" know how do to this they could put their ideas forward as well.
It would be a shame if this can't be done easily because I to have been searching for Rexbang for a long time. It was a shame when "lithpr" (I think) had to leave the world of "Puppy"
Perhaps I will have to buy a Hungarian dictionary and translate everthing, or perhaps go to night classes. It's never to late to learn something new I suppose.

I promise you an account of the English is their undoing...
Evening upload a file to share the original, and write the link.
OK?

Lithpr, wherever you are, I wish for you happiness and peace-of-mind.

I have mirrored Rexbang-B2-4 for download here -> http://www.smokey01.com/Tman/rexbang/

development sfs?

#10 Post by komet »

Hi, this is my first post here, so this may be a stupid question.
I really like Rexbang IcyOS, but I would like to be able to compile (experiment with) fortran on it. Is there a special devx.sfs addon for rexbang, or can I just use the Lucid Puppy 5.2.8 devx.sfs addon from here?

Thank you very much!

welcome 8)

the info file says
Rexbang 2.4 Beta was created by Murga-linux forum member, lithpr.
It is a minimalist-styled puplet based on Lucid 5.2.5 and follows the look and
style of Crunchbang and Archang.
so you may be better off with Lucid 5.2.5 devx
