Subject description: Pnethood run script

Hi,
Its a long time since I did this & I have forgotten how.
I want to create an exe file on my desktop which when clicked will connect me to my nas drive.
I reinstalled Puppy but forgot to back up this file, all I can remember about creating the original was part of the script line which was something like "pnethood 192.168.xxx.xxx"

I know this is a very simple thing to do, & about 99.9% of people using this forum will be able to help. Very Happy

Thanks

Rob

Hi again Semme
Ive still not learned much about Puppy. I just use all its default features, but mainly use it for surfing.
""Just in case it's useful to someone else, I made a file containing the pnethood 192.168.1.73 commandline, made it executable, dragged the resulting file onto the desktop as a shortcut, and changed the icon to the Pnethood one. This way I can click on the fake Pnethood icon, and it opens up with the IP address instead of the name of the Popcorn samba share.""

Yes this is exactly what I want, but how do I do it?
Step by step please. Very Happy

Thanks

Rob

Rt-clk inside any folder > new > script > name it > create. Now open'n paste your addy.

Make sure there's an empty line on the end like in my screenie, then drag to your dt.

I have to do it this way cos if I use pnethood on its own, it doesnt find any shares on my nas, but run from a script it does.
Strange or what???? Very Happy
