broadcom wl/sta driver for slacko

#1 Post by zomzilla »

ok so i was incredibly excited when i first tried slacko as its the first distro ever thats worked out-the-box with my troublesome wifi

but!

using b43 upsets the windows driver and requires you reset the device using commands that make no sense (lol winsock? ) and removing th laptop battery for about 5 minutes.

so my question is; how best would i get the wl driver installed? slackware package? compile from source? something else?

thanks

slightly off topic - but playdayz's lupu528-testing includes the wl driver - see
