Changelog
- Bugfix: Correct saving of album art to defined local storage.
- Bugfix: If start writing in tag-entry --> stop trackinfo searching (avoid refresh of entry widget)
- Bugfix: Read speaker level at startup fails if more channels contains the same name.
- Bugfix: Terminal output at startup. (thanks to )
- Bugfix: Webmusic top100: Splash won't hide if no internet connection.
- Bugfix: Lyrics saves another copy if capitals changes in meta-tags.
- Bugfix: Detection of lyrics was case sensitive.

Under Puppy 5.28-004, all that happens is an icon in the system tray.

I'll uninstall it, and reinstall 2.40.

Hm, same problem.
Uninstalled.

1.83 works.

Any help on the ffmpeg problem?

To track the problem there are 2 easy things to do:

1.) Run 'pmusic --debug' from terminal and evaluate output

2.) run the pmusic-produced gui-code (from terminal).
gtkdialog -f /root/.pmusic/tmp/xml_Pmusic

This will hopefully give some output that tells the problem.

2.4.1 doesn't seem to be enabling $HOME/.asoundrc, so the equalizer fails. When I rename the ~/.asoundrc.bak file to ~/.asoundrc it works as expected for that session only. Sorry, nothing at prompt. Should be something simple (I hope Smile ). Let me know if you need any output.


EDIT: ..Hmmmm.. took usual precautions, deleted hidden files and such but still had a problem. Strangely, on X restart things seem OK..So.. maybe it's not a problem Smile , we'll see in the next slacko beta

Does it work for you if you run Pequalizer as a standalone app? It seems to me that asoundrc is copied to .bak when closing Pmusic - the same way as when using Pequalizer.

Tested Pequalizer in combination with gmplayer and a fresh install of Puppy 5.3.2.1 - not working. On this particular pc, I know equalizing works with Puppy 5.3.1.

No terminal output from pequalizer

Have people succeeded under Lucid Puppy 5.2.8-004 ?

Also, last time I tried to play the Hoovers URL, got 'Source not found' or some such message.
Is there another stream I could try with ffmpeg?

Can someone remind me of the syntax to play or save that with ffmpeg ?
I just did

and got
'Invalid data found when processing input'

At present I cannot get to the menu to get the radio stations.

I think the last time (other than with 1.83) I got a menu might have been with 2.30? Is it still available?

Last night I had renamed my pupsave, booted 5.2.8 with pfix=ram, made a new savefile, and then did the tests etc.
