I'm trying to load Puppy 5.28.004 from a cd, but Puppy keeps on loading an older version from the harddrive.
I've tried-
puppy pdev1=sr0 pupsfs=sr0:/lupu_528.sfs
this seems to load the correct pupsfs basesfs file from the CD
unfortunately I get 'kernel panic' error after
loading layed file system....

I'm going to resort to rename the basesfs files on the harddrive.
any help appreciated ; -)
How to specify load PupSfs basesfs from CD?
Re: Easy way to load specify PupSfs basesfs without kernel panic
