XFCE Missing From Racy Package Manager?

#1 Post by johnywhy »

hi

i've installed xfce from the puppy lucid package manager, but i c annot find it in the Racy package manager. I enabled puppy-wary5, puppy-quirky, puppy-common, puppy-5, and puppy-4. What should i do?

incidentally, nothing seems to happen when i click the "Update Now" button on the config screen.

thanks!

Hello, johnywhy.

Try downloading it from here?

http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... -Lucid.pet

You'll find a very great number of *.pet's at http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/, which is sort of the hub for PuppyLinux programs.

BFN.

Thanks! I prefer xfce, but have not yet been satisfied with running it on puppy. Seems Not quite well-integrated.

Try Saluki Puppy. It is Racy but with Xfce standard and is absolutely gorgeous. Even notifications work.
