Hello
I have a dell vostro with a broadcom 4312 wlan. Puppy 5.1.1 doesn't support that so I installed 431 that does have that wlan support. 431 at first worked and connected to the internet but hung on next boot. I then tried 5.1.1 on another partition and it found the correct wl driver and is perfect.
I like 5.1.1 so is there any way to install the wl driver to it without installing 431.
The dell is a dual core 2.2gb with 2ish gb memory.
Thanks

Puppy and WLAN, that's a tricky relationship.

A few months ago I was on vacation abroad and tried the local WLAN on my aged Asus notebook. None of the newer Puppy versions, including Wary would connect. Only 432 and Akita were successful.

My advice: Use the Puppy that works and don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Much success
