http://www.openplatformeducation.org/Fl ... .12.36.pet 3.6MB

Play downloaded swf files or directly from a url - no browser required

P.S. Menu entry is in Multimedia instead of Internet

I loaded this swf as a test :)

http://tmxxine.com/swf/tmx2.swf

- it played OK (using Puppy 4.1.1) but not in full screen - all I got was a white blank square top left and had to close the program

Worked perfect for me, fullscreen included, I bet your using JWM Lobster, silly guy, Try it with Icewm. You'll get fullscreen and no white square with your tmx2.swf file :)

Ps using puppy 4.1
http://audio.online-convert.com/ <-- excellent site
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/A-codecs/ <-- Codec Test Files

The PET is 5.3 MB, but 14 MB installed or extracted.

Happy to help, Geoffrey.

It's just a binary from Adobe's site inside that PET. Finding it was a bit of a pain though; Google didn't help much, just threw freeware and adware download sites at me, and Adobe's site didn't really make it easy to find, either.

I just noticed, if you click on the Help menu entry, the dropdown menu seems to still have vestiges of version 10. Odd.

Anyway, clicking on "About Adobe Flash Player 10..." reports the correct version number eventually, even though the menu to do so is incorrect.

Somehow, I find the inconsistency amusing. Life's simple pleasures!

TheAsterisk!,

Thanks again, yeah I did much the same thing but the version that I used is the only one that came up and was really no better than the one technosaurus created.

I've been waiting for one that would run that webcam.swf, it is kind of handy to use as a monitor for the webcam and playing swf games of course.

I noticed that with the version number, I guess who ever was working on it that day wasn't very enthusiastic :)

Updated to version 11.2.202.270

I'm just going to link to a page on my little site that I'll update, instead of flooding this thread with post after post.
