Subject description: Puppy linux 5.2.8

I installed live cd of Puppy linux 5.2.8 everything is OK except the network for internet. Puppy cannot find my wireless connection and My driver does not exist in Puppy 5.2.8.

I have tried everything I think and nothing seems to work. I have a Netgear N300 wireless router. I have DW 1501 Wireless N Lan half mini card in my Dell laptop and Windows 7. I really like this Linux OS but I also need my internet working on it. Is there a solution to get internet up and working?

Regards,

Try this:

New Wifi not recognized. There are new wifi devices constantly. If yours is not recognized you probalby need a new "driver" for it. Fortunately those are often avaialble but they are online--maintained by tempestuous. You can use another system to go to http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=59000

Lucid Puppy 5.2.8 also has this option:
Frisbee network manager There is a menu entry Internet -> Frisbee Network Manager Install to install an alternate network manager to the puppy default. This gives twice as many chances to get connected. There is also an entry in Puppy Package Manager. Here is information ->
