Kdenlive is a free open-source video editor supporting DV, AVCHD and HDV editing with hundreds of effects and transitions. A complete solution, from basic video semi-professionnal work.
I'm particularly fond of this build as it now captures video via firewire from my camcorder... woohoo!
The pet has its own SDL as for some reason, Kdenlive would crash without it, so it will over take whatever version of SDL you have installed already.
