 Can't use HP 3050 deskjet in Puppy 525 |

I try cups 1.4 in puppy 525 , but no printer detect. Then i install CUPS 1.3.11, it detected my printer but printer not print any thing. Can any one help?
installed hplip and hpscan latest pets.
(I used scanner ok.)

That shouldn't happen. I suspect that you have some kind of corruption on your system that is causing the problem.
Either do a fresh install or boot using "puppy pfix=ram". Install the drivers again.

What are the exact names of the pets you used?
Are you using the printer in USB or in wireless mode?

cups_1.4.3-1 not worked cant add any printer
cups-1.3.11-i486.pet work saw my printer, but no print

SOLVED
OK i solved problem with install Puppy 528 and hplip print 3 11 7 pet and hp scan 3 11 7 pet/
Then CUPS saw my HP 2050 Deskjet printer (fadd this printer - HP - HP Deskjet 2050 j 510 series with hpcups then it worked)

after installing all the files in the first post in this thread i installed them in reverse order...all of them from top to bottom.... then i tried xsane and voila it scanned for the first time with my device then i followed the normal cups add printer procedure and after selecting my USB printer it automatically gave me the preferred driver ...yeah and with just clicks on the mouse i printed test page and voila encore it printed...
Thanks All Just wanted to post this coz it might help someone in my previous shoes....
