I also found a small flash chess game online, and made a pet for it, it should work on any puppy version that has flash.

how to: compiling chess game interface called eboard Subject description: I have link to source, but never learned to compile in pup525 |
|
@ Tuxx,
I love to play chess online and the eboard chess game sounds just right.
I found this page from the link in the 1st post:
http://www.bergo.eng.br/eboard/index.php?p=2
It has instructions on how to compile it, but I am not sure about puppy525 programs needed to do the job.
I have a full install of Puppy 525, but do not have devx.sfs and what about the GTK 2.4+ and Perl 5?
Also, I have never tried it.
If you have time to look at it, that would be great.
Any suggestions? or interest in turning it into a pet?
Many thanks

found eboard and LibXaw.so.8 for Xboard Subject description: Thanks for already having compiled eboard |
|
Thanks Ttuuxxx,
I found your eboard pet and it works good.
Found it here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?search_id=905993802&t=26239
Also, needed libXaw.so.8 for Xboard to work.
Found it here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=31289&sid=6759884b7a144cbdb8d612f0bd1bd212
(Just download, extract all to download folder. Then move to /root/lib folder)
Then needed libXp.so.6
Found it here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=261712
Finally had to add Crafty engine and fairymax pet to get Xboard to work.
Both are here:

Many thanks
